"Worship . . . it's more than just the music."

At the Journey Church, we believe that God created us to worship Him. God desires that we worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Worship is more than just attending a church service an hour a week. We worship God with our lives. Yes, we worship God corporately each week as the body of Christ gathers, but also privately through the intimate communication we share with the Savior each day. We worship God by the way we treat others, by our speech, and by the help we give to those in need. We worship God by inviting other to join the journey in following Christ.

The Journey Church will have their first worship on May 3, 2009. While we believe God does not have a preference in styles of music, we will have an acoustic music style. The Journey Church has been blessed to partner with Dale Lewis as our new Worship Leader. He is truly a gift from God! Together with his daughter Eliza playing the Cajun box drum (you have to see it to believe it!), they bring a powerful acoustic worship style that will truly usher you into the presence of God.
